Hydrogeological and geophysical studies
Electrical prospecting, VES soundings, borehole siting report.
Description
Before any drilling, HYDYAM FORAGES conducts a complete hydrogeological study to identify aquifer zones, estimate optimal depth and minimize failure risk. Our methods combine electrical resistivity prospecting, vertical electrical soundings (VES), seismic refraction when needed, and analysis of regional geological data to produce a reliable siting report.
Our process
- 1
Field reconnaissance and existing data collection (geological maps, neighboring boreholes)
- 2
Geoelectric profiles by multi-electrode resistivity traverse
- 3
Vertical electrical soundings (VES) in Schlumberger configuration
- 4
Software interpretation and modeling of resistive/conductive layers
- 5
Identification of weathering zones and aquifer fractures
- 6
Illustrated technical report with precise siting and target depth recommendations
